Officerinvolved shooting at hospital in Hardin Co.

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — State police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital on Saturday. Investigators report that Elizabethtown police shot an armed suspect after responding to a call regarding a man who had allegedly fired a shot inside the hospital.
Elizabethtown police identifying the suspect as 39 year-old George Lee Jr. of Radcliff.
The suspect was subsequently taken to U of L Hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to authorities, Lee remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition. State Police say officers were not hurt during the incident.
