NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A Lowcountry realtor is footing the bill for 100 adoptions at the Charleston Animal Society this week. To celebrate his birthday, Jeff Cook and his team are covering the adoption fees for dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies through October 25, giving the animals a chance at finding their forever homes. The shelter has a variety of dogs and cats waiting for adoption including a German shepherd, huskies, bulldogs, labs, and more. All pets adopted through this special event will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and behavior-tested to ensure they are ready for their new life at home.
