MILNOR, ND (KXNET) — Three people were hurt Sunday, October 20, in a three-vehicle crash near Milnor. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 8:00 p.m., two of the vehicles, a Toyota and a GMC Terrain, were heading east on Highway 13, while the third vehicle, a Nissan, was heading west on the highway. The Nissan pulled into the east lane to pass a vehicle in front of it. The oncoming Toyota swerved to the right, but the Nissan sideswiped the car. As the Nissan spun around, the oncoming GMC Terrain hit the Nissan on the passenger side. The Nissan caught fire and the driver was pulled from the vehicle by people who came upon the crash. The driver, a 39-year-old Fargo man, suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was ultimately flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. The driver of the GMC Terrain, a 28-year-old Milnor woman, suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital in Fargo. A female passenger in the GMC was not hurt. The driver of the Toyota, a 23-year-old Fargo woman, was also uninjured in the crash. The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Close Thanks for signing up!
