GRANDIN, ND (KXNET) — A Texas man was killed early Monday morning, October 21, in a head-on crash near Grandin in eastern North Dakota. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 4:00 a.m., the 40-year-old Rio Grande City man was driving on County Road 81 in Traill County when he crossed the center line of the road and struck an oncoming pickup truck pulling a trailer head-on. According to authorities, the Texas man died at the scene from his injuries. The driver of the pickup, a 49-year-old Kindred man, suffered minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
