BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- If you're looking to get into the Halloween spirit, The Station and 13 Social have spooky decor and themed cocktails.
These two Baton Rouge pop-up bars invite people to dress up and have a good time whether you're looking for fun drinks after dinner or gathering with friends for scary season fun during the spookiest time of the year.
The Station's Halloween pop-up is called "The Nightmare Before Miracle on Bennington." It's a reference to "The Nightmare Before Christmas" movie and the name of the bar's annual Christmas pop-up, which also references "Miracle on 34th Street."
The "shocktails" menu has fun seasonal drinks like the Monster Mash, Dracula's Blood and Witches Brew. Two shots called Bone Daddy and Poison Apple are also on the menu. The bar serves more than 100 beers on tap year-round.
Grab a group of friends for "Scary-Oke" every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday this month.

In the downtown area, 13 Social has its "House of Halloween" pop-up. Bartenders will be serving a special Harry Potter-themed drink, butterbeer. It's a "creamy, frothy drink" with butterscotch and caramel flavors.
Other seasonal drinks on its limited-time menu are a Morgue-A-Rita, Pumpkin Old Fashioned and Mad Eye Martini.
Events closer to Halloween night are planned, including a Cult Classics Halloween Party on Oct. 25 and a Tim Burton-inspired Halloween party on Oct. 26.
Looking for more fun activities this October? The Baton Rouge area has events like festivals and Halloween activities or find a local corn maze or pumpkin patch to visit with friends and family for a photoshoot.
