SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Week two of the Leilani Simon murder trial is set to begin. Over twenty witness testimonies and hours of video and cell phone-extracted evidence are what the jury has so far in deciding the fate of Simon. Simon is standing trial for the murder of her 20-month-old son, Quinton. Prosecutors are trying to prove Simon killed Quinton and dumped his body in a dumpster overnight between Oct. 4th and Oct. 5, 2022.
