An unidentified man died in a single vehicle crash four miles west of Kadoka Friday evening (Oct. 18, 2024, 6:20pm). Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a Dodge Ram 2500 was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle struck a roadside cable barrier, entered the median and rolled. When it came to a final rest in the median, the vehicle caught on fire. The driver sustained fatal injuries. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The Highway Patrol is an agency of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
