(KRON) -- The Golden State Warriors and guard Moses Moody have agreed to a multi-year contract extension, ESPN's Shams Charania posted Sunday evening on X. The extension is reportedly for three years and $39 million, which is an average annual value of about $13 million. Moody, 22, was selected by the Warriors 14th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. The former University of Arkansas guard was heading into the final year of his four-year rookie deal in which, according to Spotrac, paid him an average of $4.2 million annually. He is coming off a career-best 8.1 points per game during the 2023-24 season. Along with Moody, the Warriors also selected Jonathan Kuminga in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft (No. 7 overall). Kuminga, 22, averaged a career-best 16.1 points per game during the 2023-24 campaign. As of Sunday, the Warriors starting forward is heading into the final year of his four-year rookie deal without a contract extension. This story will be updated.
