ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A teen was shot on Clay Avenue near Lake Avenue Sunday afternoon, Rochester police confirm. Rochester police responded to the area around 4:15 p.m. for the report of a person shot and found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the lower body. The teen was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by AMR where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say no firearms were recovered at the scene, but police did fine evidence of gunfire. Rochester police have no suspects in custody at this time. If anyone has information related to the shooting, they are asked to call 911 to speak to investigators.
