(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) announced that deputies will be collecting unwanted prescription drugs at the DEA's National Drug Takeback Event on Saturday, Oct. 26 at three locations in Pueblo County. People can drop off unwanted, unused, and outdated prescription medication at one of the three locations listed below between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Pueblo West: PCSO Substation – 320 East Joe Martinez Boulevard Eastern Pueblo County - Pueblo Rural Fire Station, 29912 US Highway 50 East Colorado City/Rye area – Valley Market Pharmacy, 4493 Bent Brothers Boulevard, Colorado City There is no charge for the service. The drugs are accepted anonymously and disposed of in a safe manner. Needles, sharps, mercury thermometers, oxygen containers, chemotherapy and radioactive substances, pressurized canisters, and illicit drugs will not be accepted.
