SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield Thunderbirds faced off with the Providence Bruins on Saturday night. The night was highlighted by a dominant performance from rookie Dylan Peterson, who scored two goals on the night. Providence tried to rally scoring two goals in the 2nd period, but the Thunderbirds held off the rally by putting three goals of their own to follow. Springfield wins this one with a final score of four to two.
