NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) — The Potter League for Animals hosted its annual Heart & Sole Walk Sunday. Proceeds from the event go towards caring for nearly 2,000 animals each year, as well as getting the animals into loving homes. 12 News anchor Shannon Hegy served as an emcee for the walk, held at Fort Adams.
