CHESTER, S.C. – A man was arrested after deputies seized a loaded firearm and drugs at his residence in Chester County, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 7 a.m. Wednesday, deputies executed a search warrant at Quay Darby’s home on Connor Road. They say Darby was the subject of an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of narcotics.
At the home, deputies say they seized a loaded firearm, approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine and 40 dosage units of 1mg Lorazepam.
Darby was charged with the following:
Distribution of Methamphetamine, 2 counts (2nd Offense)
Trafficking Methamphetamine, 10 Grams but less than 28 grams
Distribution of Lorazepam/Schedule IV Controlled Substance (2nd Offense)
Possession of a Weapon During A Violent Crime
Sale or Delivery of a Pistol to, and Possession by, Certain Person Unlawful; Stolen Pistol
