CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A juvenile is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in east Charlotte on Saturday afternoon. Around 4:30 p.m., police responded to the 8000 block of Trousdale Drive in reference to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. The juvenile was transported by Medic to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police did not provide any information on a potential suspect.
