It’s easily the best game of the week around the NFL, but schedule-makers didn’t anticipate that, so it’s being played along with the other 1 p.m. ET early games. There’s a lot about the NFC North that most people didn’t anticipate. Through six weeks, it’s not only the best division in football, but it’s in line to be a historically good division. All four teams currently have a winning record, and all four teams lead the NFL in point differential. But at some point, there has to be some separation of these teams, and that will likely come through divisional games. Thus far, there has only been one game between NFC North opponents (Vikings beat the Packers). Sunday’s game will mark the second. The Vikings are the biggest surprise at 5-0, and coming off their bye they have a chance to notch a second divisional win with rest and in front of their home crowd.
