High pressure sits off to our east for our Sunday. This allows us to tap into warmer air from the south and continue to see plenty of sunshine. A beautiful day to enjoy some NFL football with friends! We are chilly this morning under clear skies, with temperatures in the upper 30s as of 6 AM. Have that extra layer handy to keep yourself warm heading out the door this morning. Temperatures rise back up past 8 AM towards the low-50s by 10 AM. Temperatures rise under sunny skies this Sunday. Reaching the 60s by lunchtime. Thanks to the high pressure, we will also see lots of sunshine today. Have those sunglasses handy. We'll continue to warm up under these sunny skies in the afternoon, with high temps reaching the mid-70s. On Monday, we'll be even warmer, with highs reaching the upper 70s to even the 80s for some. We'll see more sunny skies then as well. Certainly nothing record breaking, but quite warm for this part of October. There is a slight chance of a scattered rain shower on Tuesday and Wednesday, but unfortunately, most look to be dry at this time as a system tries to push through, but will be on the weakening trend. Slim chances for a rain shower this week. More chances to come this weekend. Fall-like temperatures race back in after a cold front moves through on Wednesday. While we do reach the 70s on Wednesday, we get much cooler overnight, with lows dropping into the 30s. We'll see a cool end to the workweek with highs in the upper 50s on Thursday and mid-60s on Friday. We'll look forward to more rain chances for us next weekend as another weather system moves through then.
