Four people, including two San Diego police officers, were hospitalized Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision near Liberty Station, authorities said. The crash occurred around 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Midway Drive and Barnett Avenue, said San Diego police Officer LaWanda Fisher. According to authorities, the two officers and two other people involved in the collision were taken to hospitals for treatment; they were listed in stable condition. The intersection temporarily shut down for several hours until the roads were cleared. It was unclear what led to the crash.
