ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Golisano Children's Hospital hosted it's 38th Annual Gala – It's largest fundraising event of the year. This year's theme, "Welcome to Oz" was complete with Flying Monkeys. More than 600 children's health advocates were in attendance with a special goal in mind to raise $2.5-million for a mobile health clinic. Organizers say they want to reach kids where they are and help out families who face systemic barriers to getting consistent health care. They also say they hope to have wheels on the ground by next summer with enough funding to staff the mobile clinic for the next three years.
