OROSI, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - An 18-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting that injured two men and an 8-month-pregnant woman, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office says. According to the sheriff's office, their detectives arrested 18-year-old Mario De La Cruz on Thursday as the primary suspect in the shooting that occurred on Oct 10, 2024. It was that night that deputies were called to the Orosi Sports Complex in the 41000 block of Road 128. Camera captures shooting at Orosi sports complex Video shows four people walking by the outdoor exercise equipment when deputies say De La Cruz ran up behind them and fired at least five shots in their direction. The three people who were hit included a 20-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy, and a 23-year-old pregnant woman.  All three victims survived their non-life-threatening injuries, and the baby was reportedly not injured.  Additionally, De La Cruz was also arrested for a separate shooting that occurred six days after the first. He was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on suspicion of multiple counts of aggravated assault and a weapons offense. He is expected in court on Monday afternoon for his arraignment.
