SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A Feather Alert has been issued statewide for a missing 16-year-old from the Pala Indian Reservation. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office, 16-year-old Keira Trujillo was reported as a juvenile runaway on Thursday, Oct. 17. Plane crashes at Fallbrook Airpark Deputies say she was seen getting into a car in surveillance footage, and was last seen in the Murrieta area in Riverside County, believed to be heading to Henderson, Nevada. Authorities say she has previously run away from home and was then located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Due to the circumstances of her disappearance, the sheriff's office says she is considered an at-risk missing person. Four people, including two SDPD officers, injured in collision The Sheriff's Office has asked the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to issue a Feather Alert throughout the entire state of California. A Feather Alert is a resource available to law enforcement agencies investigating the suspicious or unexplainable disappearance of an Indigenous woman or Indigenous person. Trujillo is an Indigenous girl from the Pala Indian Reservation, which is located in northern San Diego County. She is described as 5'3" tall, 110 pounds, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leggings, and black Chuck Taylor shoes, carrying a red backpack.
