Vegetation fire burns near Dove Springs OHV area

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Firefighters and wildfire crews responded to a vegetation fire burning just west of Highway 14, near Dove Spring Canyon Road. The Dove Fire has burned about 1000 acres of brush, according to Genasys Protect. The fire began about 12:56 p.m. on Saturday. The cause of this fire is unknown and is currently under investigation.
