ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A car hauler caught fire on Saturday afternoon, causing a temporary lane closure and multiple grass fires. Hammond commercial structure ‘large’ fire extinguished According to a 12:47 p.m. Facebook post from the St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District No. 11, its units, along with Picayune Fire, were working to handle the blaze, located around mile marker 11 on Interstate 59. The Fire Protection District did not specify whether these fires were related.
