KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One person is suffering from serious injuries following a hit-and-run in a marked crosswalk on 6th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. KCPD says that officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run with life-threatening injuries around 1:15 p.m. today, October 19. They're saying that an unknown type of passenger bus was making a left turn from southbound Wyandotte Street to eastbound 6th Street when it struck a pedestrian, running them over. KCK mother wants answers after her son was hurt in a bike hit-and-run KCPD claims the bus then left the scene without stopping, and was located around 5:40 p.m. Saturday. KCPD also says the driver is cooperating with the investigation. At this time, KCPD says that the victim is "in very critical condition" and was transported to a local hospital. This is an ongoing investigation, FOX4 will provide updates as they're made available.
