2 hurt after shooting near Southern University

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Two people were taken to a local hospital after a shooting in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Oct. 19, according to emergency medical services officials.
Baton Rouge EMS said two people were sent to the hospital after a shooting on Fairchild Street. EMS said the two victims were in serious condition.
