WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said three people were shot in three separate overnight shootings in D.C. Police said that at about 11 p.m., they were dispatched to the 3000 block of  Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in Southeast D.C. for a shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot. The man was conscious and breathing. He was transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
