WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said one person died and another person was injured in two separate overnight stabbings in D.C. Police said that at about 11:15 p.m., they were dispatched to the 400 block of H Street in Northwest for the report of a stabbing. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman who had been stabbed. The woman was conscious and breathing. MPD looking for man wanted for fatal Southeast DC shooting She was transported to the hospital to be treated for her injuries. A few hours later at about 2:15 a.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of Delafield Place in Northwest for a stabbing. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been stabbed. The man died there. Homicide is investigating the incident.
