ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — High pressure will remain our best friend for the days to come. Sunshine will once again dominate our skies for today. Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid to upper 60s for highs. Our skies will remain clear heading into the overnight hours, allowing for our temps to drop into the low to mid 40s. Fall Foliage Update: Nice foliage viewing weather shaping up for this weekend We will experience much of the same for tomorrow as we do for today. Little to no clouds in our skies, allowing for the sunshine to, once again, dominate our skies. Temperatures will get back up into the upper 60s. Lows will fall into the mid to upper 40s. We will stay dry and warm for the beginning of the workweek. Our temperatures will continue to climb their way up. The sun will continue to shine into Monday and Tuesday. Highs for Monday will reach the low 70s and the mid to upper 70s for Tuesday. Lows for both nights will remain above average, only dropping to the upper 40s. Our temperatures will take a "hit" into Wednesday. We will see an increase in cloud coverage for Wednesday, which will result in temperatures only reaching the low 70s for highs. A cold front is expected to move through the area on Thursday, bringing some scattered rain showers. High temperatures are only expected to reach the upper 50s for highs. 8-Day Forecast We will remain dry for the end of the week and into next weekend. Temperatures will remain on the cooler side for Friday but will start to quickly rise back up. According to the Climate Prediction Center, WNY will experience a warm end to October.
