Snow will continue to fall across the Rocky Mountains this weekend, depositing one or two inches after a storm system brought winter weather to Colorado’s high country Friday. The National Weather Service forecasts snow showers for areas south of Interstate 70 through mid-day Saturday and warned drivers to prepare for wintry conditions in mountain passes. Denver’s Saturday forecast includes a 20% chance of rain before 10 a.m., after which the weather will be mostly cloudy with a high of 58 and an overnight low of 44. Light snow was projected to continue at higher elevations Sunday through Monday, with showers and thunder possible west of I-25 and south of I-70. Rain is also possible Monday in Denver, before the weather warms heading into next week.
