(KRON) – The Vacaville Police Department arrested two women for grand theft of a grocery store earlier this month, the department announced on Friday.  Vacaville PD was notified of two women fleeting through the emergency exit doors of WinCo Foods on Davis Street. According to police, the suspects stuffed their shopping carts with merchandise.  The store’s loss prevention officers informed police of the suspect’s description and the getaway vehicle.  Police located the suspect’s sedan and said merchandise was in “plain view’ and more stolen items were in the truck.  SRPD arrest teen for alleged possession of loaded firearm during traffic stop In a photo provided by Vacaville police, the suspects attempted to steal multiple laundry detergent containers, cleaning products and groceries, such as large bags of chicken and shrimp and multiple boxers of cereal.  Police said there was more than $1,250 worth of stolen merchandise.  The suspects were identified as Richmond residents 46-year-old Stacie Gaskins and 49-year-old Neykkia Owens.  Vacaville PD said officers located a spiral notebook containing the personal identifying information of several individuals, which is common for identity theft.  Gaskins was arrested for grand theft and driving without a license. Owens was arrested for revocation of probation, grand theft and unlawful use of willfully obtained personal identifying information.  The duo was booked into the Solano County Jail.
