HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A section of Darbytown Road in Henrico County is closed as police investigate a single-vehicle crash that sent the driver to the hospital. At around 11:47 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, Henrico Police responded to a single-vehicle crash into a tree at Darbytown Road near Yahley Mill Road. According to police, Henrico Fire responded to the scene and found the vehicle on fire. A male driver, who was reported as the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Police said Darbytown Road between Yahley Mill Road and Bradbury Road will be closed until the scene is cleared. Drivers are advised to avoid the area while police investigate the crash.
