CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- I-77 north in southwest Charlotte is closed due to a tractor-trailer on fire, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Around 10 a.m. on Saturday, crews responded to the fire at I-77 north at Westinghouse Blvd near Exit 1. Medic says they did not respond to the scene.
Anyone in the area should expect significant delays or find another route. Officials say one lane is open for traffic flow, but it's not expected to fully reopen until around 1:15 p.m. It is still unclear what started the fire.
