KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Freshfields Village is hosting its annual Dogtoberfest on Saturday, October 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the village green. This free, family-friendly event invites guests to bring their dogs for an afternoon of fun, all while supporting local rescue organizations. Haunts and Happenings: Celebrate the end of October with these local events The event features a Pet Expo where attendees can meet adoptable animals from local rescue groups like Charleston Animal Society, Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, Carolina Coonhounds, and more. Local vendors will also be on hand, offering pet-related products and services. My Lil’ Bubba Bar-B-Que will provide food, and DJ B-Hustle will play live music & Mike C.
