Event Date:  October 26, 2024 - 1:00pm Ready, aim, swish. Signups are underway for the third annual Nevada Day Cornhole Tournament happening Saturday, Oct. 26 at Carson Mall in Carson City. The tournament will be "Switcholio" format where each player will play three round-robin games with different partners and then the results will determine pairing in a double elimination bracket, therefore five games minimum are guaranteed. The tourney sign-in and practice begins at 1 p.m., with playing beginning at 2 p.m. The tournament will be in the west parking lot of the Carson Mall. If weather turns cold, organizers will move inside the center court of the Carson Mall. Cost/Payout: $15 cash per player at sign-in, 100 percent of which will be paid out to top finishers in 2 divisions (if enough players sign up), an advanced division and a backyard division. $100 extra added to pot. Good raffle prizes, tickets at sign-in. Bring chairs, bags and sense of Nevada Day fun celebratory fun. Extra bags will be available.
