ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman was killed and four others injured in a two-car crash in Rochester Friday night. According to investigators, a car heading southbound on Hudson Avenue ran a red light around 9:00 p.m. A westbound vehicle driving through a green light hit the bumper of the first car, causing it to spin out of control and roll over at least once. Police said all three people inside the vehicle that ran the red light were ejected from the car. The driver, a 20-year-old woman, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, but did not survive. The two passengers, 18 and 19 years old, were hospitalized with what police said were minor injuries. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle, both in their 20s, were also hospitalized with minor injuries. Police said they were cooperating with the investigation. Investigators do not suspect alcohol played a role in the crash. Police ask anyone with information to call 911.
