(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Colorado Springs man has been sentenced to life in prison for the shooting deaths of his wife and infant son in 2022. David Weingarten was found guilty of shooting and killing 26-year-old Lizet Salinas-Mijangos and their eight-month-old son, George Weingarten. There was a second child inside the home at the time, the couple's 20-month-old daughter, but she was not hurt.
