TOPEKA (KSNT) - A business popular with residents in Lawrence and Manhattan will be expanding to the Capital City. On Friday, Oct. 18, signage went up for a new Pizza Shuttle in the Gage Village Shopping Center. In a social media post, Pizza Shuttle said the Topeka location would be 'opening soon'. 27 News has reached out to Pizza Suttle for extra information. Pizza Shuttle was started in 1984 in Lawrence. On its official website, Pizza Shuttle says it isn't a chain, rather it's a locally owned and independent restaurant. "For over 25 years we’ve been proud to call Lawrence home," Pizza Shuttle says on its website. "You can count on us to keep trying to win your business with each order. We may not be a legend yet, but, we’re gonna keep tryin’." How prepared is Kansas for a nuclear emergency? For more local news, click here.
