SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) — The Somerset Police Department said two men were arrested for drug possession and distribution after a “month’s long” investigation.
41-year-old Richard Correia, of Somerset, and 26-year-old Marcus Davis, of Fall River, were both charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute class B drugs, possession with intent to distribute class E drugs, and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Police executed a search warrant on Clearview Avenue on Oct. 16 after several weeks of surveillance due to the belief that Correia was allegedly distributing drugs from there.
A search allegedly located and seized various quantities of cocaine and crack cocaine, Xanax, and MDMA, along with items commonly used for the packaging and distribution of narcotics.
The search led to the arrests of both men.
