SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) — The Somerset Police Department said two men were arrested for drug possession and distribution after a “month’s long” investigation. 41-year-old Richard Correia, of Somerset, and 26-year-old Marcus Davis, of Fall River, were both charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute class B drugs, possession with intent to distribute class E drugs, and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Police executed a search warrant on Clearview Avenue on Oct. 16 after several weeks of surveillance due to the belief that Correia was allegedly distributing drugs from there. A search allegedly located and seized various quantities of cocaine and crack cocaine, Xanax, and MDMA, along with items commonly used for the packaging and distribution of narcotics.
