WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) — Westerly firefighters rescued a horse Friday evening that got stuck up to its neck in mud. Police Chief Paul Gingerella told 12 News they were called by the horse's owner after it got trapped in the area of Church Street and Old Indian Trail.
