NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Clear skies and cool nights are expected across South Louisiana and South Mississippi through the weekend as temperatures gradually rise.
Expect sunny conditions on Saturday with highs in the upper 70s, accompanied by breezy east winds up to 10 mph. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 50s north and mid 60s south.
The pleasant weather continues into Sunday, with highs a touch warmer at around 80 degrees under mostly clear skies. Temperatures will steadily warm through early next week, reaching the mid 80s by Thursday.
No rain is expected over the next several days, but the area could see an increase in moisture and potential rain chances later in the month. Until then, residents can look forward to dry and sunny conditions, with warmer temperatures becoming more noticeable as next week progresses.
