The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm team 5... Another beautiful day across the area today with not a cloud to be found across the state of Wisconsin! Temperatures have been sitting in the upper 60s with a select few seeing the low 70s this afternoon. Quiet weather for Friday night lights with clear skies and temperatures in the 50s. Overnight lows will fall close to seasonal normal in the upper 30s to low 40s and winds will ease also. A cold front is positioned to our West over the Dakotas and this front is expected to diminish as it approaches. At most we will see a few clouds in the after, but I am still expecting skies to stay mostly sunny. Since we are out ahead of this front and still seeing return flow from high pressure to our South, highs should pop into the low to mid 70s in the afternoon with breezy SW winds. Couldn't get any better for gameday on Sunday, feeling more like a Week 1 game then a mid October week 7 game! Temperatures for tailgating will be in the 60s, warming to 72 degrees at kickoff and highs topping the upper 70s. Our record in Green Bay is 81 set back in 1953. Plentiful sunshine is expected once again and the breeze will pick up in the afternoon. More of the same into Monday with sunshine and temperatures returning back into the upper 70s. Drought conditions continue to worsen and fire danger remains high across the state and will persist with the dry forecast. Our next chance of needed rain arrives Tuesday night going into Wednesday as a system dives in from Canada. This will help cool us down mid week briefly before we snap out of it for the next weekend.
