We've had a sunny, above average afternoon with highs in the upper 60s and we'll be even warmer over the weekend. Some extra layers are needed out there this evening as temps fall out of the 60s and through the 50s. The kickoff temperature for our area Friday night football varsity games is 60°. The wind is light from the south. A fall chill is in the air for Friday night football this week. While conditions tonight won't be as cold as recent nights, we'll still be cold enough for some patches of frost developing. Our lowest temps will be around 35° by daybreak. An area of high pressure continues to influence our weather this weekend and that means more sunshine is on the way. Southwesterly winds will continue to send in warmer than average air for the next couple of days. You can expect highs in the lower 70s Saturday and middle 70s Sunday. The weekend is filled with sunshine and highs in the 70s. On Monday, we'll see the warmest day with a high near 80! Tuesday won't be far behind with a high in the upper 70s. We'll continue with highs in the 70s through Wednesday next week with high temperatures falling back into the upper 50s Thursday, after the passage of a cold front. This cold front may produce some scattered rain Wednesday and Wednesday night. The rest of the forecast is currently rain-free. Tonight: Clear and cold.
