EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- If you travel back and forth between El Paso and Las Cruces, you may encounter some lane closures and possible delays next week along Interstate 10 in Southern New Mexico.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation, along with contractor Brasier Asphalt Inc., will begin a roadway resurfacing project on Sunday, Oct. 20 along Interstate 10 in Doña Ana County.
Rodway work will be done from the New Mexico Stateline, working west toward Vado. The contractor will work from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday.
Initially, the project will impact just the westbound lanes, but will eventually impact both directions.
Completion of the project is expected to be completed Friday, Nov. 22, weather permitting.
