(CNN)– Early estimates indicate Hurricane Milton could be one of the top costliest storms in U.S. history.
The research farm Corelogic estimates damage as high as $34 billion.
The bulk of the losses are from wind damage due to the unusual nature of the storm.
As far as water and storm surge, uninsured flood damage is estimated to be about $4 to $6 billion.
These estimates do not include extensive damages from at least 9 deadly tornadoes that ripped across Florida before Milton made landfall.
