BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Livingston Parish deputies are investigating a reported shooting near Sinclair Drive that happened on Friday, Oct. 18. Sheriff Jason Ard said a large police presence was in the area after deputies were called to a shooting. According to Ard, a male victim had a non-life-threatening injury to the leg and the shooting suspect is in custody. "While this investigation is still very much ongoing, we believe this to be a disturbance between family members," Ard said. Residents should expect to see LPSO in the area.
