BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Bakersfield officers arrested two suspected fentanyl dealers in a multi-agency operation conducted this week in the area of Baker and Sumner streets, officials said. Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department, code enforcement, rapid response team and the Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the operation on Oct. 16 for complaints of narcotics-related activity. Tree trimmer pronounced dead after being found stuck in palm tree After the operation, two suspected fentanyl dealers, nine people in possession of narcotics and outstanding warrants were arrested, Bakersfield police said in a statement. Officials seized 4 ounces of suspected fentanyl, personal property, a 5.7 handgun and $3,251 in cash during the operation, police said.
