The future of transportation is about to leap off the ground, quite literally, thanks to Invo Station, a company poised to transform air travel with its silent, autonomous, and safe electric flying vehicles (EVs). Founded by inventor and engineer Leo Kayali, who has spent his career in renewable energy and previously worked with Tesla, Invo Station’s mission is simple: to make air travel accessible to all, not just the elite 1%, while also reducing environmental impact. Leo has always been driven by a desire to create solutions that benefit both the people and the planet. With a background in electronics engineering and computer science, he has worked on renewable energy projects for industry giants. He is no stranger to innovation, having created many inventions across industries. His early work involved the automation of production lines of groundbreaking vehicles such as the Cybertruck. However, after experiencing personal loss during the COVID-19 pandemic, Leo shifted his focus. “I wanted to make a difference on a larger scale,” he reflects. “I wanted to leave the world better for my children, and doing that meant creating something impactful, not just for me, but for everyone.” This passion for positive change is the driving force behind Invo Station’s purpose-driven mission. Invo Station is not just another player in the electric vehicle market. It stands apart for its revolutionary design and technology. The company began with a survey conducted at various large conferences, which revealed that most people were terrified of flying EVs because of exposed propellers, fearing they weren’t safe. Leo and his team responded by creating an innovative, enclosed motor design that hides the propellers, ensuring passengers feel secure. This design, coupled with the company’s electromagnetic motor technology, eliminates the noise and safety concerns of traditional drone-like vehicles. Leo explains, “When people think about flying vehicles, they picture something like sitting in a box surrounded by helicopter blades. We’ve removed this fear by making our motors invisible and our vehicles silent.” Beyond its quiet operation, Invo Station is spearheading advancements in autonomous flight technology. The company’s AI-driven platform, Invo Dome, is a modular autonomy system that can be integrated into other flying vehicles. Invo Dome’s AI collects real-time data to simulate various flight scenarios, such as avoiding obstacles like birds or power lines and processes the information in ground-based data centers. This data, being the first of its kind, gives Invo Station a unique advantage in the race for safe, fully autonomous air travel. Set to launch its first model, Invo Moon, in January 2025 at CES, Invo Station will offer three distinct vehicles tailored to different needs: the luxury Invo Moon, the family-sized Invo Mars, and the economy version Invo Earth. Each vehicle is designed to make air travel accessible to a wide range of consumers. Leo envisions a future where flying EVs are a common sight, with traffic distributed between the air and ground. “We want to reduce the environmental impact of transportation,” he says. “Passengers can alone account for about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year, and our flying vehicles can alleviate this by offering a cleaner, more efficient alternative.” Invo Station’s design philosophy draws from history as much as it does from cutting-edge technology. Inspired by the sketches of Leonardo da Vinci, Leo’s own sketches, made during a moment of inspiration at a coffee shop in Santa Monica, laid the foundation for the company’s vehicles. His warehouse—a fully equipped lab where he tested small-scale prototypes—was the birthplace of Invo Station’s flying EVs, which have since evolved into full-scale models. This commitment to innovation and design has already earned Invo Station accolades, including several patents and recognition within the industry. With plans to expand manufacturing and operations beyond San Francisco to Nevada, Texas, Germany, China, and Japan, Invo Station is well on its way to becoming a global leader in flying EV technology. As the company gears up for its first pre-orders, set to launch at TechCrunch in San Francisco this October, it’s clear that Invo Station is not just shaping the future of air travel but also setting new standards for innovation and sustainability in transportation. With Leo Kayali at the helm, Invo Station is proving that truly ‘Sky’s the limit.’ The post Invo Station Is Ready to Ascend to New Heights with Silent, Safe Flying EVs appeared first on LA Weekly.
