WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Several first responders were on the scene after a water main break in the Van Ness community left water pouring from a sidewalk on Friday morning in D.C. Just after 11 a.m., DC firefighters, police officers, and DC Water crews were called to a 12-inch water main break in the 4100 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest. Thousands of DC Mail-in ballots returned; group reminds voters of Initiative83 Along Connecticut Ave, water could be seen rushing from a sidewalk and flowing down the street, near the University of District Columbia's campus and Metro station. As a result, parts of Connecticut Avenue were blocked off. DC Water said no customers were impacted by this incident.
