The San Bernardino-based Swans Club of the Inland Empire will present six young women at the organization’s 64th annual debutante ball, which will be held the evening of Nov. 9 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Ontario Airport. The 2024 Swans Club debutantes are Ausara Bell, a senior at John W. North High School in Riverside; Crystal Scott, a freshman at Riverside City College; and Omaega Johnson, Brooklyn Malveaux, Leianna Scott and Zaair Thompson, all seniors at Cajon High School in San Bernardino. Leading up to the Nov. 9 ball, the young women were presented at a tea held Oct. 6 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in San Bernardino. The Swans Club, founded in 1960, is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to provide college scholarships to teenage girls in the Inland Empire, according to a news release. Tickets for the debutante ball are $75 and must be purchased by Oct. 27. To purchase tickets, go to theswans1960.com or email [email protected]. All contributions are tax-deductible.
