KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County will host a FEMA DSA team next week beginning on Monday, according to officials. County officials say the DSA team will be at the Kershaw County United Way facility located at 110 East Dekalb Street in Camden on Monday, October 21, through Wednesday, October 23. The operating hours will be approximately 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) teams will help residents register with FEMA and answer questions regarding individual assistance programs. However, DSA representatives do not have the authority to issue or approve FEMA individual assistance. Officials say eligible homeowners and renters in 28 designated South Carolina counties and the Catawba Indian Nation may be eligible to receive FEMA assistance.
