COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A man who was wanted in South Carolina in connection with child abuse is being extradited back to Columbia, according to RCSD.
Nathan Ginter was arrested in Kentucky in June after skipping trial in Richland County over abusing his 3-year-old daughter, say investigators.
He was convicted on four counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.
After failing to appear for his trial, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Ginter is accused of abusing his daughter as a form of punishment which then escalated into torture between January 2022 and March 2022.
Investigators say he began caning the child by using a bamboo stick and leaving bruises on her body.
